Best ES Trade Plan Newsletters Compared (2026)

If you day trade ES or SPX, a handful of newsletters publish a written plan for each session. This page lists the ones I found, what each one says it covers, and where Little Bird Trading fits. Every description below comes from that newsletter's own About page as of October 2026. Check each page for current details and prices.

What an ES trade plan newsletter gives you

Most of them share the same core: a set of price levels for the next session and some notes on how the author plans to use them. They differ on four things:

Coverage: ES only, ES plus NQ, or more markets.
Timing: the evening before, or the morning of the session.
Style: long written analysis, a short level list, or order flow.
Extras: a community chat, a methodology guide, or recaps of past sessions.

The newsletters

Adam Mancini's S&P 500 (SPX/ES Futures) Trade Companion

Posted every day at 16:00, with several paragraphs of analysis explaining the levels, the entry triggers the author may be watching for the next day, and his general lean on the path price may take. A Trade Methodology guide is pinned to the homepage as essential reading for new subscribers. The author describes it as an educational service. Source.

PalmaFutures

Trades the S&P 500 E-mini (ES) with a level-based approach that combines market structure, pivots, moving averages, price action and confirmation. The site also has a charts page and a stock and ETF swing trades section. Source.

Ryan Bailey's S&P Edge

Structured S&P 500 (ES) trade plans built with a top-down approach, aimed at traders who want a repeatable process, including traders working toward prop firm funding. The publication also runs a post-market breakdown, a podcast, and occasional setups in forex, stocks and crypto. Source.

The Shmuts

A daily analysis of NQ futures published before the open: a review of the prior session, key levels and the plan for the upcoming session. Useful if you trade the Nasdaq side. Source.

Charting With KR

Daily trade plans for paid members, free educational posts, and a Discord community for paid members. The About page lists the price at $15 a month. Source.

Tic Toc's OrderFlow Newsletter

Daily and weekly commentary built on order flow, up to five newsletters a week, plus a subscriber chat and a leaderboard. Source.

Little Bird Trading (mine)

I publish support, resistance and pivot levels for ES, SPY, NQ and QQQ, plus 19 more stock markets across Asia, Europe and the Americas. The US plan is usually posted by about 18:00 ET for the next session. Each Pro plan also lists how many times every level was touched and how much volume traded there, with the busiest levels called out. The previous session's levels are free with a recap of how price behaved around them, and every level can be downloaded as data through MyLinedChart. The site is in 15 languages. How to pick one

If you want a long written walk-through of one author's thinking, pick a commentary-style newsletter.
If you want a clean set of levels to plug into your own rules, pick a level list you can download.
If you trade NQ or markets outside the US, check coverage first.
